The Wild Animal Sanctuary

Keenesburg, CO Facility

The Wild Animal Sanctuary is our second facility near Keenesburg, CO - which is just 32 miles northeast of Denver, CO.  This 1,420 acre facility is home to more than 500 Lions, Tigers, Bears, Wolves and other animals that were rescued from illegal or abusive situations.

Both the Sanctuary and the Refuge are part of the same overall non-profit organization and both provide large acreage habitats for rescued animals to live in.

​

The Sanctuary is open for educational visits on a daily basis and currently educates over 140,000 visitors per year about the Captive Wildlife Crisis.
